The 90th CMEF Medical Fair will be held in Shenzhen on October 12

More than 4,000 brand companies will participate in the exhibition and tens of thousands of products will be unveiled

From October 12 to 15, the 90th China International Medical Equipment Fair (hereinafter referred to as "CMEF") will be held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an). 

The overall exhibition area of this CMEF is nearly 200,000 square meters. More than 4,000 brand companies will bring tens of thousands of products to the exhibition, and it is expected to attract more than 120,000 professional visitors to visit.

Since its first launch in 1979, after 45 years of development, CMEF has grown into a global comprehensive service platform covering the entire industry chain and the entire life cycle, integrating product technology, new product launches, trade 

cooperation, and academic exchanges. It is known as the "weather vane" of the global medical industry.

This year's CMEF brings together cutting-edge medical technology achievements from around the world, with 14 exhibition areas including medical imaging, in vitro diagnostics, medical electronics, medical optics, hospital construction, operating 

rooms, disinfection and infection control, medical consumables, and orthopedics, presenting a panoramic view of the entire medical industry chain. 

It is worth noting that this year's CMEF will also hold a series of sub-brand exhibitions in hot areas such as "Medical Device Design and Manufacturing", "Smart Health", "Emergency Rescue", and "Pet Health", providing an international platform for 

display, communication, and cooperation for the global medical and health industry, and creating an ecosystem covering the entire industry chain from source to terminal. As a sub-brand innovatively 

launched by CMEF, the 37th China International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (ICMD) focuses on the upstream supply chain of medical device manufacturing. The exhibits mainly include intelligent technologies 

related to medical device manufacturing, such as intelligent manufacturing, UDI, industrial automation factories, embedded chips, etc. These new technologies have broad application prospects and will 

push medical device manufacturing to a new stage of intelligence, efficiency, and precision. By then, more than 500 domestic and foreign brand companies and more than 10,000 products will be unveiled.

The "going overseas fever" of domestic pharmaceutical and medical device companies is continuing, and this CMEF is held in Shenzhen at the right time. In the first half of this year, Shenzhen's private biopharmaceutical and medical device companies 

achieved foreign trade exports of 11.85 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60%, and the export data of many high-end medical device products are leading the country. As a highland for China's 

innovative pharmaceutical and medical device industry, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become a highland for China's high-end medical devices to "go overseas" by virtue of its geographical advantages and high degree of 

international integration. 

This CMEF international exhibition area will welcome representatives from more than 20 countries and regions such as Germany, the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, China to exhibit new products. According to the organizer, the number of 

pre-registrations for international visitors to this CMEF has exceeded twice that of the same period last year. It is expected to attract international professional visitors from more than 150 countries and 

regions around the world. The CMEF exhibition will become a high-quality "incubator" for global trade, helping global new products to "bring in" and "go out".
